Mercury, Mission Critical and the mid-tier

Abstract
We at Mission Critical believe that Mercury is the ideal language for developing the mid-tier in large, complex n-tier systems. In this talk I will give the reasons why we think Mercury is suited to this task, discuss why we believe that currently the best implementation platform for this is the new .NET architecture from Microsoft, and finally what changes we plan to introduce to the core language and build environment to realise our vision.
