Submission guidelines
Submission format
Submissions should not exceed 6 pages (including references) in ACM Conference Proceedings Format. Accepted papers will appear on the proceedings CD and will be uploaded to the ACM Digital Library. You can use the ACM Word or LaTeX style templates to prepare your article. Papers can only be submitted in PDF format.
LaTeX
- Please use the option 2 style file from the ACM website (option 1 does NOT include the permission statement). Insert the following three lines in your .tex document after \begin{document} to produce the correct copyright statement and info:
\conferenceinfo{MidSens'06,}{November 27-December 1, 2006 Melbourne, Australia}
\CopyrightYear{2006}
\crdata{1-59593-424-3/06/11}
- Please use Type 1 fonts. See the ACM FAQ for help.
- If your paper has more than three authors, some of them will only be listed on another page if you follow the official format. See the ACM FAQ for ways to fix the format of your author list.
Word
Insert the ACM copyright statement at the bottom
of the first page left column. You can copy-paste this statement from (MidSens2006-copyright.doc). This statement should appear in 8 pt. Times New Roman, justified text, with MidSens'06 in italic.
Classification
You should apply the ACM Computing Classification catergories and terms. The templates provide space for this indexing. The most used parts of the Taxonomy are probably under C.2, C.2.4, D.2.11 and D.2.12.
