The first EuroSys Conference will take place in Leuven (near Brussels), Belgium, from April 18th to 21st 2006. EuroSys2006 is the first of a series of system conferences located in Europe. It welcomes submissions and attendance from all over the world. EuroSys aims to bring together researchers from different areas of computer systems, who are otherwise spread over multiple conferences.

Leuven is one of Europe's ancient university towns with many old beautiful buildings. The town hall, the famous Beguinage (Begijnhof), the churches, cloisters and colleges stand silent witness to the rich history of Leuven and make it the interesting place it is. Leuven is only 25 km (15 miles) away from Brussels, the capital of Belgium and the centre of the European Union.

The Conference will take place in the old college "De Valk", a classicist building from the 18th century, situated right in the centre of Leuven.
